School Uniform

St. Augustine’s CE Primary School has high expectations of its pupils and their uniform. Outsiders often judge a school by the appearance of its pupils in public. Wearing a uniform encourages a feeling of security and gives a sense of belonging to a community.

To purchase school uniform please complete the order form below. All uniform is ordered through school and when it is ready you will receive a text from school to pay through your Arbor account and we will send home with your child. We do stock a limited number of school items in the office but the majority of uniform will need to be ordered.

Year 6 pupils also wear school ties which are provided by the school. If a pupil should lose their tie there will be a charge of £4.00 to replace it. These can be purchased from the school office.

School Uniform:

• Black/grey skirt/trousers
• White polo shirt
• Year 6 white shirt/blouse and school tie
• Blue sweatshirt/ jumper
• Black school shoes (no trainers)
• White, grey or black socks or grey or black tights (no other colours of tights)
• Hair ornaments (blue or grey and of a suitably modest size)
• School bags – blue reading bags to be purchased from the office (no large ruck sacks)
• Blue draw-string PE bags to be purchased from the office (no large ruck sacks)

PE Kit:

Indoor –

• bare feet or rubber soled canvas pumps
• plain white t-shirt
• plain black shorts/leggings

Outdoor –

• training shoes
• winter – plain black tracksuit or sweatshirt or school jumper and leggings, plain white t-shirt,
• summer – as indoor

Please ensure your child is not wearing jewellery in school or on their PE days.

School jumpers and cardigan, with the school logo are only available from the school office and need to be ordered.

Please note we are unable to take orders for uniforms after 12th May 2023, orders received after this date will be processed in September.
