Admission to Nursery Class 2024

If your child was born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021, your child is due to start Nursery in September 2024.

Please note: Our nursery class places at the start of the academic year are applied for through the Local Authority. The Local Authority will place pupils according to our admission criteria within the school’s admission policy. 

Admission to Reception Class 2024

If your child was born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020, your child is due to start reception in September 2024.

Please note: Our reception class places at the start of the academic year are applied for through the Local Authority. The Local Authority will place pupils according to our admission criteria within the school’s admission policy. 

 

Applications for Nursery and Reception 2024 are applied for online through Salford Admissions and not directly through school.

The online application process closes on 15th January 2024. School offer day will be mid April 2024. Information will not be provided before this date in any circumstance. Offers will be made by email only. If you have not received your email, please check in your junk and spam folders before telephoning the school admissions department.  If you wish to appeal, please follow the link in your offer email.

Oversubscription

The oversubscription criteria for when a school is full is:

Category 1 – children who are looked after by a local authority and children who were previously looked after by a local authority. Previously looked after children who were looked after, but ceased to be so because they were adopted (or became subject to a residence order or special guardianship order)

Category 2 – children with exceptional medical/social needs

Category 3 – children with a sibling at the school

Category 4 – all other children

Waiting List

Waiting lists will be held in criteria order according to the oversubscription criteria. Waiting lists will not be operated on a “first come, first served” basis. The amount of time an applicant is on a waiting list will not affect their position on it.
